The day after the breakout, Valluce returned to the prison,
determined to find the masterminds behind the escape. The warden was getting desperate, and the media was having a field day with the news.

Valluce focused on the nervous guard, Tom, who had been acting strangely. He decided to follow Tom after his shift. Tom led Valluce to a secluded area where he met a well-dressed man. Valluce took photos of the meeting and ran the man’s face through his database.

The man was Leo Carter, a known criminal mastermind with a history of orchestrating prison breaks. Valluce knew he was on the right track.

Valluce brought Tom in for questioning. Under pressure, Tom confessed that Carter had bribed him to help with the breakout. He provided valuable information about Carter’s operation.

With Tom’s information, Valluce discovers Carter’s hideout and finds plans for the escape. The evidence pointed to a larger conspiracy involving several high-profile criminals.
